1967 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang.
This car was abandoned in Death Valley for 25 years, parked outside and exposed to the wind and sand. The low-moisture climate helped preserve the car, so it’s virtually rust-free. It’s not pristine, the bonnet and rear deck have been reduced to raw fiberglass, but the car is mechanically sound and a certified Shelby product.
Notable features include the dual four-barrel carburetors on the 428-cubic-inch big block, twin center headlights and interestingly, a trailer hitch.
